The Paths I Walked Along as a Boy - Willesborough, Ashford, Kent

Daydreams

No we don't need, we don't need no money,
Cause' love don't cost baby,
Love don't cost that much.

The ink is dry, the milk is cold,
The season's lie, let the truth be told!
Cause' the cows eat sheep as we wait for the rain,
To cleanse our souls from the animals pain.

We see nothing, but sense something,
Our conscience screams!
But I'm gonna' make some truths,
Out of my daydreams.

The paths I walked along as a boy,
Lie overgrown with fallen trees now.
But I still think that love rules the world,
At least it does, in my daydreams.

Well, we don't need no money,
Cause' love don't cost that much.
Black and white our brothers,
Generous and tight, our lovers.

Help me to heal the emptiness!
